The car wash broke my Jaguar hood ornament - I have the leaper and the spring but that is it. Can it be fixed? Or any idea where to order new one and are they easy to install? Dealer wants 260.

Sorry to hear your grim news!
I have a new leaper waiting to go on mine and I think it's solid.
One of the more "informed" guys will assist you.
I think you'll need a new one but don't throw the spring and leaper away just yet!
Did it break clean, ie at the base? if you can send in a photo, I think we can try to sort it!
I do think the Leaper needs to stay on and I wish you Luck!
I never use a carwash so I am unaware of the rules and if they may be responsible or not.

Ps athy,
Ebay do them a lot cheaper and if you want to replace it, I'd get a friend or someone in the know to do it. It shouldn't cost that!
