Sorry to hear your grim news!
I have a new leaper waiting to go on mine and I think it's solid.
One of the more "informed" guys will assist you.
I think you'll need a new one but don't throw the spring and leaper away just yet!
Did it break clean, ie at the base? if you can send in a photo, I think we can try to sort it!
I do think the Leaper needs to stay on and I wish you Luck!
I never use a carwash so I am unaware of the rules and if they may be responsible or not.

This is really not very hard to fix. They are available on e-bay at various prices under $100 and why not try to fix it yourself. Since it's already broken - nothing lost. This thread shows how. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...$2-10-a-35387/
