Thumbs down X Type making a beeping alarm noise on start up

Hi there, I have a jaguar X type 56 plate.

Unfotunately i have had the chance to drive it for a while and in doing so the battery died. I got the AA to come round and recharge it. I took it for a long spin and all was fine. I then tried to restart the car and every time I do it makes this long beep which then stops after 5 seconds. There are no warning lights showing on the dash. I can't seem to figure out whats causing this. Thanks for your help in advance

My understanding is that it is a replacement battery rather than a secondary battery. Perhaps I am wrong.

Well that's odd. Posting a reply to a different thread on my phone ended up in this conversation instead. This was intended for the larger battery thread.

I recently made the opposite transition. I left the Jetta in California and bought the Jaguar in Massachusetts. It's always nice to have a new car without the maintenance issues, but I appreciate the class the Jaguar brings with it.

Okay No more replying to posts on my phone as for some reason, they end up in the wrong post!
