Default x type new plugs an coils

Hi guys just finished changing the above mentioned items new pcv valve and hose and the associated rubber seals.
All went well right to the end, it took me just over four hours, but last hour was spent trying to refit the screw at the bottom rear of the manifold the one with the bracket
I ended up leaving it off just couldn't get it fitted. I have taken the car for a good drive and all seems fine.
Bottom line is will I get away with not having that bolt fitted

I did the same about 9 months ago and have had no problem.

Check your gas mileage now and see what you are getting. I m getting 24 but I did all gaskets too.

How are you getting and measuring your gas mileage?
On my message display I always get about 17 to 18 for the gas.

Hi thanks for that, i've been getting about 22 mpg, but we did a 500 mile road trip across Scotland two weeks ago and got 33mpg then. Mind I've got a 2.5l and I've upped to super unleaded recently. i'll wait till empty then refill and let you know the results.

I just write down the mileage at fill-up and then subtract that from the mileage when I fill up again equals how many miles per gallon.

In other words if say you are at 260 miles and you fill up then drive for 100 miles to 360 divide how many gallons it takes to go that 100 miles. If you happen to put in 4 gallons to fill up then you are getting 25 miles per gallon.
