Oh, I always hand wash my cars, as I don't trust the drive-thru's. What I was talking about was my uniform!

I know what your saying......it can be time consuming, although, for a quick fairly thorough wash, I can do both cars washed n dried.....inside vacummed and dusted, tyres blacked in around 1 and a half hours...not bad, and well worth the envious looks of a clear thats always shining.

Just shortly though, when the weather gets a little more predictable I intend to empty both cars, wash n chamois clean, full valet, plus a nice coat of polish. Possibly T cut them too, to revive the paint beforehand, intend to take the rims off and recoat the calipers and hubs too. Nothing too flash, just a nice silver, around 3 coats should do it.
Steam clean the engine bay too...........I was thinking about the V6 on the engine cover............maybe a nice coat or two of red heat resistant paint? While the wheels are off, a good thorough clean of the inside of the rims, which all too often get forgotten about.........and about a million other things too.......lol

Damn, you guys would shoot me if you saw my car. Mother nature can't decide if it's spring yet, so my car's covered with salt and mud an inch thick! (2.5 cm. for myEuropean pals!
) I've been treating my car like I'm Travis Pastrana in a WRX!

Whats up guys? Have been really busy and my 10 month old was sick with croup, so i was out of commission for few days.
I got the Jag back from service. Everything is fixed, but the front whirling tire noise is still there at the lower speeds. They did another rotate and balance (paid another $60), but to no avail. I am wondering it the Dunlops are the culprit. I just don't know.
The hotItaliano wasthere.....what a piece of A$$!!!! it would be nice totag it....hehe

Dunhill what are you driving?
We have a xk8 2000 that has been in the shop alot for wheel bushings and bearing because we were hearding noise, but we decided today it must be that we have Pirreli P Zero racing tires that make the noise. Maybe you have the same problem

I live on a nasty dirt road, when it gets muddy, I play WRC driver for a couple of days until it dries up - WAAAAYYY too much fun to "drift" an AWD car in the dirt!

(Don't worry,it got a bathyesterday.)

Rudy mate, your car looks sweet, I 'm sure i told you before!
BUT......WRC on a dirt track in your X???
Are you mad???
For gods sake hire a car, steal a car, whatever, but Rudy............Not in your X mate[&:]

AWWWW JIMBO, you don't know man. It's so awesome to drift in our cars. I've only done it once in the S, but I took a friends Type-R and it was a blast to drift. Dirt road does make it easier, but the next day I'd have to spend 8 hours cleaning and detailing the car!
