X-type rear diff oil change? how to drain?

X-type rear diff oil change? how to drain?

Factory Jag tech, do you have any advice about draining the diff? Id like to change the oil. 02 sport, 182k km.

nothing to it. Pull the plug on rear. I think it is 3/8. Get some kind of pump to suck out old fluid and refill until it starts to come out of the hole. Drive it a couple miles and repeat. Better to do it warm as the fluid is thinner.

the some kind of pump is where I am stuck. my turkey baster does not fit in the hole... hahaha.

Get a little piece of hose, fuel hose, vacuum hose, something that will fit in the hole and attach it to your love aid. LOL....you will get it in there.
