X-Type Rim Replacement - but with what?
Hi, I have a 2005 X-Type VDP and one of the rims is bent. It was on the front right and the mechanic moved it to the back right which has helped but I'm looking to replace it or replace all of them with something forged and stronger so that I don't have to continually replace the rims. The VDP has the 17" Belize rims, which are nice but not great in 2005 with the green backdrop.
I've heard that the 17" rims on the X-Type aren't that strong and don't want to be continually replacing rims.
So my question is have you replaced 17" X-Type rims with something stronger (ie forged etc) and if so with what? I like the idea of replacing all of them with something much stronger and maybe a bit flashier(?) Any ideas ?

Go to www.tirerack.com or www.discounttiredirect.com and review some of the options.
I have the Voxx MG's from Discount Tire in 17" size. I've bent two factory 16's, I have not bent any of the Voxx as of yet - been about 4 years.

This is a new rim for our cars - made in Japan, reasonably priced. I think they would look great on the X-Type. If I didn't already have a set of 18" BBS rims, I'd seriously be considering them:
