Default X type sport front struts

Hi,
I understand that my 2002 X Type sport has a lower suspension than the standard model. Can anyone tell me if the change was made with shorter springs or by changing the location of the spring mount on the strut.
I ask because I am shopping for struts and I do not want to install struts that will raise the ride height.

Thanks

Ken, the Sport model uses 20mm (1.2 inches) shorter springs with a slighlty higher spring rate. So, if you replace the struts, you can get whatever struts you want (comfort, sport, or heavy duty) from Bilstein and they will work on your car.

You can see what the Bilstein B12s look like on my car. These's a bunch of pics under my profile.
