What is "the vacuum hose" behind the throttle body on top of manifold?

You may need some rings. Part #C2S15816.

Caution: The hose I've received was assembled backward. It would fit if the purge valve will move.

In conclusion:
-The idiots at Jaguar needs to update their Official Catalog so we aren't wasting time and money on this damn wild goose chase and missplacing my loathing with the dealerships who were willing to help but had to ask around to find the part. I'm sure it's not going to be the last time I'm going to be stuck.
-Whoever named Purge Hose and Hose-Purge was a Genius. Probably the snowflake that snowballed into this mystery.

xFyght, the hose that you are talking about is what connects the intake manifold to the purge valve for the emissions control system to draw a slight vacuum on the gas tank I believe. Looking at Jaguarparts.com, they call it a "Vapor Hose". They won't list a part number for it, but they want $30 for the hose.

Based on the Valve Assembly(8), the "Vapor Hose"(10) connects at the Purge Valve (9) at the bottom, shorter port.

I need the hose that connects to the Purge Valve(9) at the top port and at the top of the manifold. Which isn't in the picture.

xFyght, then tell them you need the Purge Valve Hose. They should be able to figure it out. Tell them that you don't need the vapor hose, you need the purge valve hose (ie, the one that goes between the intake and the purge valve. If they can't find it based on that, then you need to move on to a different dealership. If you call up JPLV, they should be able to get you the hose at a good price (including shipping).

When I googled the part number, Not a single picture showed up.
Dealer wont show or email picture. if anyone is kind enough, could you get a copy or verify if its the real deal.

I had the dealer order the part and I will get it Friday. Will confirm when I've received it.
