Hi I am new to the forum and to jaguars I have acquired an X Type 2.5 2001 it has been standing for over a year and now won't start the engine spins over fine on the starter motor but it will not burst into life. It was running OK when it was parked up obviously the battery was totally dead so I have replaced it but still no go .Hope someone has some ideas thank you in advance

 

Fuel filter maybe be plugged with varnish
