Default Guess that sound! And help me, 00 XKR won't start.

https://*******/OKjx

For the past couple of months my vehicle has had a hard time starting when cold, sometimes you would have to turn the key twice but never any problems when running, today it finally won't start! It's not giving me any diagnostic codes just the p1111. I think it's my starter or fuel pump, could someone with more knowledge listen to the sound it makes when I try to start it and tell me what they think?

Thanks!

I should have posted that was the first thing I did, it tested good! I have another Jaguar battery I could swap it with just to make sure.

Take the car to Autozone, Advanced Auto or Sears and have them do a load test on the battery. It is free!!

Sorry, to clarify that has already been done, Auto zone load tested it and it was good.

Two things to check the first is to swap your starter relay with another like relay and if the problem still exists check your ground at the battery and the one from the frame to the transmission bolt. It is on the right side of the trans just below the starter. The clicking leads me to believe that the starter solenoid is intermittent. Question does it do it when you try to start it in "N"?

I just tried to start it in neutral and now it won't crank at all in neutral or park. All the dash lights come on but nothing else happens.

Gus, responding to your pm now.

I did some basic troubleshooting with no luck.

1. Battery load tested good.

2. Swapped the starter relay, no change.

3. Checked fuses, all good:
fascia fusebox - driver's side
#6 5amps centre console switches, key transponder module, convertible top header console, rain sensing

engine compartment fusebox passenger side - within bulkhead extension
#3 25amps starter solenoid

engine compartment fusebox - left-hand side
#5 10amps starter relay, engine controle module

4. Tried another key, no change.
