I have a 2002 jaguar xtype. I have been experiencing a squealing noise coming from the front passenger side of the car. This squealing only occurs during cold weather, below 50f usually and between 30 to 55 mph. Sometimes the squealing will cease for no reason but sure enough it will come back randomly as well. I have taken the car to the dealer and they have had no luck. Any ideas?

 

Hey there Jnudes...check out the X type section and in particular the X type FAQ quick links. Look at posts related to the Transfer case and the drive shaft whine as it'll be one of these issues you're probably experiencing.
