Default xtype feels weird in snow

so i just put on new tires on the xtype, not winter tires but all season, and the car doesnt really handle as well as i feel it should on snowy roads, it feels as if the back end is going to spin out and it seems to fish tail a lot, im leary on driving it and i shouldnt be because its AWD, ive had many RWD and even a AWD 325xi that felt tight to the road and never slipped out once on me, whats the deal with this car? anyone else feel this issue?

It might be the rear shocks may be worn. I had this issue also when it rained too. So just make sure your rear shocks are keeping your tires on the road. Mine where so worn that I could push in the shock with minimal effort.

If your car is under a 2003, then your problem is in your tires or MAYBE your transfer case. If your car is over 2004, then they use a different transfer case which is pretty much like 95% rear 5% from power. If your car doesn't have traction control, then you will have to get more power by using your emergency brake to stop your rear wheels a little bit and transfer more power to the front

Make sure your rear control arms/bushings are all okay. I had this exact issue on mine when my front control arm bushings in both sides of the rear suspension were worn out, causing the rear wheels to have noticeable negative camber. This significantly reduces your contact patch and causes it to be very squirrely in the snow.
