Daily driver purchased at 80,000 now has 125,000, was doing 100 miles a day, now about 10. Golf clubs and fishing gear in the trunk! Love it, got a kick out of a friend of mine who drives an MB E-class how nice the jag looks!

 

I know my X is a snow tank and I live in a winter wonderland but she is my daily summer driver now as she is ten years old. Of course she only has 120K km or 75K miles on her so maybe she can hang out for another 10 years this way.

 

For a while I had good discipline and took the bus to work everyday and left the Jag at home in the carport. This made driving it on the weekends more of a treat. However, lately I've been driving it daily to work. But, my overall plan for this car was Not to make it a daily driver. Next week, I'm getting back on the bus. It's $4 round trip, and round trip to work for me is 30 miles.

I enjoy the car more when I don't drive it everyday.

 

Daily driver...wouldn,t want any other car to drive..when this one dies I,ll get another X..I love em...every journey is a total pleasure

 

use mine all the time 2001 3.0 with 75k and love it

 

My 2003 X Type is my daily. 42 miles a day to and from work. And everything else right now as I restore my XJ6.
