is it an easy job to replace near side headlight assembly on 2017 xe please, totally misted up and tried everything to learn but no joy, guess I need a new assembly unit?

After a small fender bender, I needed to replace a headlight on my 2017 xe r-sport. The units were backordered and it took three weeks for the dealer to obtain one and send it to the body shop.

They are apparently e-ye-wateringly expensive. I'm surprised you can't get the water out, but I'm not an expert on this, I'm afraid, but have a read here.

 

Thanks, long story is both caps behind headlights fell off due to poor fitting, went through big puddle of water, headlight blow out and headlight mists up all the time, tried hair dryer, full beam for hours but just mists up again, hence replacing
