i have a 2018 jaguar S AWD and have been using android auto for a few years now with no problems. all of a sudden 2 weeks ago google maps stopped having full functionality. it'll work for 5-10 minutes then the gps signal will cut out and it gets stuck on searching for GPS.
however if i use Waze, all is fine for the entire journey.
i've updated my incontrol pro to the latest S22A and still has the same issue

wondering if anyone has come across anything similar?

 

Exactly the same issue, worked fine since car bought. Stopped 2 weeks ago. "Searching for GPS" . So frustrating

 

mine solved the issue yesterday
i left the Android Auto beta program. both android auto and google maps did updates
current versions:
Google Maps (Beta) version 11.64.0700
Android Auto version8.6.625954-release

mines worked since yesterday so far

Sorry to be a pain, but if you have time can you guide me on how to do that?

go into the play store on your phone and check for app updates - usually under manage apps & devices and you should see "updates pending" or "all apps up to date"

 

That has not worked for me unfortunately.
