Boot lid has a mind of its own?
Evening all,
No local dealers open until Tuesday so was hoping someone else has had the same issue and know a solution!
Every 10 mins or so the boot lid opens itself. I keep popping out and its just letting all the fresh rain in again!
The car locks using the fob so the sensors are clearly engaged. I pushed a pencil through thr locking mechanism whilst open to ensure it engagaes and it does.
Ive put the car in valet mode and now it seems to be holding shut. Very odd.
Does anyone have any info? 🤣 thanks!

Do you have a key fob in or near the car? If the fob is nearby, then sliding a foot under either of the rear corners opens the trunk (if you get it right.) I’ve opened it accidentally more than once by walking by close.
If the fob is in proximity, then other movement near there could open the trunk (cats, etc.) I suppose.
