Default In Control doesn't work with IOS 13?

Anyone else update their iphone to IOS 13 and now In Control apps no longer works? Is it just me? The Remote app works, but not InControl. I can't listen to Spotify anymore

Wouldn’t surprise me. I haven’t gotten around to installing any apps, but I do have CarPlay - I’ll have to try that. But I’m driving the F-type while we’re having nice fall weather here. The F-type started dropping the BT connection (usually reconnecting on its own), likely after a previous update. Don’t think that’s improved.

I’ve noticed worse battery life on my iPhone SE with iOS 13, but that’s it so far.

I just posted the same thing in the Smartphone Sticky. It will connect then drop Bluetooth, then repeat the cycle.

New to Jaguar, have they released firmware updates in the past for new IOS releases?

Default BT Issues

Android users just went through this ordeal. We are now having to run a separate app that manages the BT connection and something to do with contacts. With the app running on the phone, all is well. This was the culprit as to why we were getting similar things happening (phone would connect and then disconnect after a few seconds or minute and repeat). It's possible that Apple did something similar and removed some protocol that the system is looking for. Look up the issue with Android 9 and Bluetooth and you'll see the annoyance this caused. Saw on a Samsung thread from the EU that Jag is releasing an update in the next month or so that is supposed to fix the Android issues. Maybe it will help with IOS too.

Assuming you have removed the connection from the phone and car and repaired?

To test the theory above, try not having your contacts synced via BT. If you get a stable connection then it maybe the same issue.

Good luck!
