I just bought a 2019 model XE Prestige 2.0L petrol and was surprised to find the mirrors do not fold when both mirror control buttons are pressed at the same time. Can somebody tell me if this is a fault or whether there is an option to buy the car without auto folding mirrors. If the latter is there a way for me to check if the mirrors are motorised or not ?

 

Many things were optional on the XE. If you have motorised/folding mirrors there will be a white line over the adjuster buttons/stick - see pic. There is a company called L R Retrofit that can supply and fit them for you at a cost of £600 - depends how badly you want them.
