Default Frustrated with Jaguar!

I am very frustrated with jaguar and considering cancelling my order and buying an Audi.
I bought a 35t AWD in Canada on July 9. I found out yesterday that they arent going to make the 35t and i have to go the S or the 20t gas.

i dont get why they took 3 months to let me know. now i have to spend 10% more to get the S and wait 3 more months

i am heavily considering buying an s5 sportback instead

Did you call JLR corporate? They should honor the 35t price IMO.

What do you mean "you bought a 35t"? Did you sign paperwork and pay a deposit of some kind? I don't see how they can sell you a car that's no longer in production. If that's what you bought, that's what they owe you. If you just ordered it without some sort of exchange, I suppose that's different.

I agree you should call JLR corporate.

Interestingly, my two top choices were the XE and the A5 sportback.
I have no regrets but would have loved being a sportback owner as well.

I paid a deposit and got a bill of sale. i guess they had to wait for an order call to put in the order but by the time the order call came around the 35t was replaced.

on the plus side, i am picking up an XE S tomorrow!

Sweet! Congrats! I hope you got a great deal with their mix up. I know you won’t have any regrets. I’m starting to see a ton of A5 sport backs around, so you will absolutely love the exclusivity of the XE. Plus you’re getting 40 more HP to boot. The car will look sharp in black. Post a pic of it if you have time.

Black is a good color in the XE with R Sport trim.
