Hello, my door check on my 2017 XE cracked, I know the part is about $60 and the labor at a specialist wants $300 b/c the door needs to be removed (I'm assuming at the dealer it'd be a tad more). My question is can I perform this replacement myself? I know Jag engineered things to make it as difficult as possible to do simple repairs yourself. I dont want to damage anything or start a job I cant finish. Seems simple, but I cant find any info on how to do it. Should I just leave it to the shop or do you guys have any tips or tutorials on how to do it? Thanks in advance for any responses.
