Default How to remove Center Console side panels and outside air intake side vents

Hello everyone,
I am thinking to plasti dip a few interior and exterior finishings to have a better / different finish than the stock (some what unsatisfactory) finish we have on the MY 2017 XE S.
Has any one removed the Center console side Panels, exterior side air vents or rear view mirror caps.....
would really appriciate the procedure how to do it ..

Would be very helpful if one of you ( with the download access of course) could download these docs from TOPix and share it. Would be a starting point as a guide...

tried searching the Forum but could find anything thats completely relevent..

Thanks guys

Cheers
Phani

If you subscribe to TOPIx (https://topix.jaguar.jlrext.com/topix/user/loginForm) there are comprehensive manuals in taking apart the car.

Best of luck

@Eric325ci, Unfortuantely the documents that would help in removing the Center console side Panels are not available to view/download from TOPIx. I guess they are under Workshop Manual section or some other which are not accessble..

Hey Phani,
I’m actually in the process of vinyl wrapping my XE. In regards the the mirror caps, just pull from the bottom and wiggle it out with medium to high pressure. Snaps right back on, bottom first. To get the panel off, there is a hidden TORX bolt, which I’m looking for the right size screwdriver... let me know if you figure that out. Hopefully this helps, and good luck.

Thanks Kevin, Will try as you suggested for the mirror caps.
