Default Jaguar xe 2.0 diesel limp mode

Hi All, I have a jaguar xe 65 reg (uk) for the last 2 months or so after sitting in traffic my car starts going into limp mode I have it looked at by two different mechanics and the only fault code I have which comes up is that there is a fault with the air con system which I am aware of. I have had it serviced recently 2 weeks ago all filters changed and still have the problem drives fine but as soon as I slow down in traffic it goes back into limp mode. I did look up on here that it could be a fault with the ECU with moisture, which when I checked it out myself the water drainage for the windshield was heavily blocked with leaves, dirt etc. Which was causing water to pool here I wonder if it could be that water is getting into the electrics this way as the main cable is running next to the drainage for the windshield. And being blocked has caused water damage to the ecu ECU? Just a thought.

Just wondering if anyone has encountered anything similar before I take it back to the garage again, many thanks in advance!
