Question Jaguar XE 340 PS vs 380 PS

Hi guys.

I've recently decided that I need a V6 XE in my life and I have narrowed it down to 2 options. One is a 2017 340 PS and the other is a 2018 380 PS. Other than that, the newer one has a digital instrument cluster.

My questions are, what are the major differences between the 2 engines, and were there any difference between the model years mentioned above. I am worried that the 380 PS version might come equipped with OPF and that the digital dash might not be as good as the classic dials.

Thanks!

Are you in Europe? In the US they are called 35t and S.
You really need to drive them both. The differences between my 35t and S F Pace is way more than the supposed 40hp difference.
I have the digital dash on the 35t and the regular gauges on the S. I prefer the regular gauges.
Our XE has regular gauges with the widescreen infotainment. Best of both worlds.
Check with your JLR dealership to see what model year the OPF started.

There is no difference between the two engines other than the tune, and maybe an OPF on the later model (but I doubt it).
