Just bought a BRG/tan 35t prestige AWD. Should I have gotten a RWD?
Just bought this 2 days ago and seeing a lot of burn out vids. Which is fun. Although I've always heard AWD has better traction for better take offs and just all around turns etc
It's also a 35t prestige and not the s version. What's the difference between the S and prestige? How about premium?
Also is the AWD Better? Burning out would be cool sometimes but oh well
Love the car so far. 2017 42k Miles now. Little high but gonna get the CPO on it. (any idea on the cost of that?) Recommend any other warranty /service contract instead? USA Ohio.
Thanks guys.

Well if you live in Ohio you're better off with the AWD for winter use. I've never understood these "burnouts", they must take thousands of miles off the tyres and subject the drive train to a lot of stress. Of course I was brought up on motorbikes where if the tyre loses traction, you're in the ditch pretty soon !
If you can, buy wheel and tire insurance. The standard low profile tires do not absorb bumps very well and if you hit any potholes you may be looking at close to $1000 to replace a single wheel and tire.
Where and how do you get wheel and tire insurance? I have never heard of that. unfortunately i hit a good one the other day but was not going that fast, I will check it now that you mention that lol.
It was about $2000 for 5 years. The car came with a very good 5-year warranty (including all required service appointments), so I did not have to buy any other service agreement.

I bought the wheel and tire insurance because I had had lots of unhappy prior experiences with NorthEast potholes and low profile tires. My two previous cars were a BMW 335xi and an Audi S4. Both had low profile tires, and both required frequent tire and alloy wheel replacements.
You absolutely should buy tire and rim insurance on this car. I never hard more bent wheels and bubbled tires on all the cars I have ever owned combined as much as the XE. It paid for the policy almost 2x's!
Previous Jags had much strong wheels and the Cintuarato tires ride nice, but are way too fragile. My local Jag dealer stocked those tires, they were replacing that many!
