Hi all, just picked my XE from the 16k mile service. Apparently I had 1mm left on the rear pads, and 3mm left on the front, so I just decided to let them do a full replacement. As this is my first british car, I elected to trust the advisor and just go with it. My previous BMW 335i needed the pads changed even more often, but it was always the case that the front pads wore faster than the rear. When have others replaced there pads (how much was left on the pads) and is it common for the front to last longer? Also i never received a indication that my pads were worn however i was charged 120$ USD for pad wear sensors so I assume they exist. All in all it was about $1300 USD.
