Hi Guys I have a 2017 XE base. It does not have the sub woofer. Question - us it possible to buy the factory sub from an XE with the Meridian system and install it plug and play into my base XE? I see quite a few for sale on eBay and amazon

 

I doubt its plug and play.I would just add a sub and an amp to the base system.

 

You are correct. I took everything out of the trunk hoping to find a loose plug that I can plug into the sub woofer I bought online. No luck, soi will just do as you mentioned, buy an amp and sub

 

I have the base system in my XE too and I ended up adding and amp and a sub. Now it sounds good.
