Sunroof question
I don't even know if it was intended, when trying to close fully open sunroof in automatic mode after pressing button for a second and let the sunroof close itself, it closes and opens fully again. If I just just do it slowly by pressing the close button with intervals it closes perfectly.
So many little annoying electrical and software things to take care of. The NAV now stutters and then reboots when I'm reversing, a backup camera just freezes then turns off, dangerous thing. In the US the Alfas have some electrical and software demons too, I choose the Jag thinking these issues were resolved by now. I have to schedule trip to the dealer, the closest one 20 miles away.

I've never had an electrical problem in any of my Jags (up to number 5) but there are a lot of reports of all sorts of gremlins when batteries are failing in the XKs etc.
But one of our volvos had a terribly squeaky brake in reverse and it was said to be a software issue - wtf? Sometimes I miss the days when cars didnt have all of this stuff.

Glad the local JLR dealer hadn't thought of that, and just gave me new rotors

If memory serves the sunroof window has a pressure sensor that will throw the motor into reverse if too much resistance is sensed during closing. This is a safety feature to prevent severed limbs.
This may also account for your ability to close the sunroof slowly, but not quickly.
Your sunroof sensor is probably in need of a little adjustment. I recommend you call your service advisor and describe the issue, I bet they will have you come in for a look.
Probably a mechanical adjustment needed. I've had this happen with power windows in volkswagen and others...
