Hi all,
2000 XJ8...can the headliner piece on the sunroof be replaced w/o removing the sunroof? Starting to sag slightly...any ideas on fixing?

tilt the sunroof up, with both hands, push up then back on the panel, this unlocks it. Now go to the outside and push the long springs down to clear the metal panel and pull out. Have it recovered and install reverse of removal
Thanks! I would much rather remove it myself & take the part for recover in than have them do it.
Appreciate quick help.
I have the Jag manual CD (JT..whatever its called) & if sunroof removal was on there could not find it!

My sunroof panel has come loose on one side (the whole panel, not the lining) - Can it be repaired by removing the panel in the same manner as described by Brutal?
Thanks
