I'd love to give them my business, but two emails have gone unanswered. Adios........

Any other suggestions of a US or Canadian vendor who sells interior stuff for XJ6s?

yeahh, my recommendation was when they answered inquiries. They must be SOOOO busy. To hell with them.

if you want SERVICE, contact John Skinner in the Uk. I have had very good contact with them. In Canada I don't know of anyone in the Jaguar upholstery business.

I don't trust anything they sell. low quality and bad service after the sale. And I am not the only one who's had terrible experiences with them.

when I purchased my S type in San Francisco, I stopped at their shop in San Jose. It is a storage unit in a storage facility.
The recepcionist was filing her nails and chatting with someone on the phone while myself and another customer waited at the "window". 10 am. Noone seemed to bother saying "MAY I HELP YOU?" The other customer left. I waited. And waited. I left too. Then I ordered parts by phone. The parts were rusty, I called to let them know, they played the "we are not aware of rusty water pumps" game. I ordered Fuel Pump Supports which fell apart during installation. Replacement claxon horns that failed within 2 weeks. THEN they wanted me to pay to return all deffective parts. I called my bank and filed a claim. The bank stopped payment. End of story.

Welsh Enterprises did the same to me selling me a misrepresented part. Then they didn't want to take it back. HA! But THEY HAD TO and I hope they had it for dinner. You can't fool me Welsh !

Buyer Beware.

I find XKSS.com's prices very high. They want $250 for an ABS plastic dashpad cover. I've seen the same product elsewhere for less than $150.

Does anyone know where I can find the plush (I think they were cashmere) floor mats that came in the Vanden Plas? Only the rear seats and the front passenger side had them. Mine are missing.

I own a 1986 VDP and have always wanted a set of those rugs. In my case,.. they had gone missing long before I bought the car. Then I got lucky , while cruising a Pull a Part yard,.. a new arrival... a low mile 85 VDP parked close by. In the boot was a complete set of rugs. Gave them a good cleaning and now they live in the boot of my car,..(so they will not get destroyed) Kinda of impractical for everyday use ,...
I simply wanted to have as much of the original equipment the car came with, as I could.

Do you really want to sell them? How’s their condition? My car has the cream leather with beige carpet. What color is your interior? PM me if you want to sell them.

For what it's worth, I contacted world upholstery via email twice this month and thought they had failed to respond. I checked my junk email folder and had responses sitting there, both within a day of sending the inquiry. I haven't bought anything from them, but they were responsive and offering to help.

Adrian,
BAS Jaguar Interiors have excellent quality but they don't answer their phone line and don't respond timely to inquiries.
They seem to be a 1-man operation.

There is now a line of Made In China leather seat covers for Jaguar XJ at a very low price. Check them out in eBay.
I have read reviews that say the quality is very good.
The company name is LSeats.

their website https://www.lseat.com/

My 2 cents, I am about half done replacing all the upholstery in my S3 and chose GAHH for mine. I went with vinyl instead of leather with the thought of upkeep and ease of cleaning. Also half the price. I am pleased and have had no problems with fit. Color is exact replacement.
