Default Transmission Control Module

Hi All, need a bit of help. I have had a fault with my car not starting and after getting it scanned by an auto electrician the diagnosis is the transmission control module is faulty and needs replacing, but I can't seem to locate it. Van anyone on here help please

According to Google, it's actually inside the transmission casing.

I don’t have a ton of XE docs, but the F-type repair manual includes this with the ZF 8HP70 transmission. Not quite the same transmission as the XE, but it’s the same family.

”The ZF 8HP70 transmission is an electronically controlled, hydraulically operated, 8 speed automatic
unit. The hydraulic and electronic control elements of the transmission, including the TCM
(Transmission Control Module) , are incorporated in a single unit located inside the transmission and
is known as 'Mechatronic'.”

Consistent with TxDriver’s post.

Edit: I have this F-type doc on the 8HP transmission - it shows where the TCM is.
