Yes, my car has multiple software problems I know that original steering rack had a crack and it was replaced with a new one. It gives error that steering angle sensor has not been calibrated and I tried to fix that by doing first calibration with SDD. No luck and communication error message aborted calibration. Well I though that maybe rack has not been configured as it should after installation so I went and run new steering rack module configuration. SDD found four new firmware and tried to install them - same communication error message and forced to abort configuration. I realized that this may need some more experience to fix but are there some obvious problems that I should focus?
ABS module is always not responding when accessing car with SDD, although everything works errorless when driving. Also climate control seat heating button does nothing, maybe car has some body control module problem..?
I have moved your post from the General Tech forum to the forum fo the X760, which is the Jaguar factory project code for your XE. Here you will find knowledgeable owners of similar cars.
They do alignments too, and you should at least check the steering angle sensor at the end. It could need recalibration. Even if it’s not off enough to trigger a light on the dash, it can be off enough that you can be “fighting” the EPS system a bit.
