2010 XF iPhone connection
Hello all,
I am sorry for most likely creating a duplicate thread, as I read several of them on this topic, but still couldn't find a proper answer.
I have recently bought a 2010 XF, I am really happy about the car and all, but I cannot connect my iPhone to it as it does not seem to support bluetooth.
I have used apple cord to connect my phone via USB port but nothing has happened so that means it's probably working on USB sticks only. I have also watched a video on youtube called "how to connect iphone to XF 2010" or something but unlike that person, I don't have an option on main pannel saying PHONE. I have only VOICE (which I don't know what it does but it definately doesn't connect my phone).
So my question is, did anyone of you experience this and how did you solve the issue? I have option to get AUX cable or buy a docking station for iPhone - I don't have any so before buying something, I would actually like to know its result in advance.
If you bought an iPod docking station and connect your iphone - did it allow stream music?
I don't use iTunes, I am using Spotify so all I need is access to Spotify, Ideally seing the track info on main pannel, and would welcome option to control it from wheel. If not using iPod docking station, how did you solve the issue?
Thanks in advance for any ideas.
J.
