2012 XF no interior courtesy lights?

2012 XF no interior courtesy lights?
Hi
got in the car last night and realised the interior light hadn’t come on. After further investigation the rear interior lights not working, footwell lights not working, vanity sun visor not working.
All have previously worked.
Tried the auto/manual trick in the hand book of holding the middle light in for a few seconds.
Anybody else had this problem?

Just letting you know that you have the X250 model of the XF and not the X260 model (2015 and later, although in the US it was introduced in 2016) for which this thread is setup. You may get better results by posting in the X250 thread. It is a common mistake. There seems to be considerably more activity in that thread, so you may get a useful response there.
