Car will be on sale in 2016 in the UK probably from May. Usually Jaguar like to see how the early cars get on in the UK before selling them in the US as this is a very harsh marketplace if cars have problems in early ownership.

That doesn't sound right. I agree that the UK typically sees cars before we do for the above stated reason, but I have order slots for the 2016 XF for near the end of this year. The XE, however, I'm not expecting until April of 2016. Jaguar is famous for saying we'll have something by a certain date then delaying it a few months, but outside of that, we expect the 2016 XF this year.

I contacted a Jaguar dealer in the Dallas area the other day and he said the new XF should be arriving late this month (Oct.).

Default STL says October

My St. Louis, MO dealer says this month (October). I pick up my '12 XF from service today and will post here if there just happens to be a truck unloading new XFs.

I've been reading October delivery for the USA pretty consistently. I need to check my local dealers.

I was invited by the Norwegian dealer to have a look and possibly test drive the new XF this Friday. Not shure when delivery of the first cars will be though.

Interesting, the dealer I am working with just said that Jaguar just announced it was delayed until the spring, a call to Jaguar confirmed the Spring release date for the XF.

Oh, oh. If they delay it that long they must have encountered huge problems somewhere along the line. Many professional car reviewers have had a chance to drive the XF and have been favorably impressed and it was set to hit the dealers this month. Something must have gone terribly wrong.

since this is a "rumor" thread let's try and get some confirm on the delay. This new date will not work for me if it is true.

I had called Jaguar USA on this and they confirmed it.

Be my guest, call in USA at 1-800-4Jaguar and ask.

I was thinking it may be due to the diesel delay in certification with the USA rule changes, but then why would they wait on the V6 petrol version?

I agree this is a bummer

I can't imagine there being much 2015 inventory left. Really curious what the reason is.

Thanks, let me know. Interesting that Jaguar direct said Spring for XF (and XE, just to make sure they did not mix them up).

Rear drives are coming first with AWD versions arriving (supposedly)in Nov.

Here's an AWD I drove this morning. Very fast!

Note the vertical grill. Shorter overhangs but with much greater rear leg room.
