My pleasure, I'll keep the updates coming. Who's to say when it really hits, but with our first expected this week, I've got to believe it will be sooner than spring.

I hope it's sooner than spring....we're almost out of stock as it is. Maybe she was thinking of the XE?

Ok, so I called Jaguar again and a different dealer, and December intro date is what they are saying.

So much for the first Jaguar corporate person (and yes, I did say, not the XE at the time), and the other dealership lost my bushiness

Sorry for the false alarm.

I was just at the Livermore CA Jag dealer and saw a 2016 black XF 3.5T in the lot. I bought some coolant and came back outside to take some pictures but it was gone.

Default The XF lightweight has arrived

Lighter but packing a big punch! This lightweight British knockout just took on a stubborn XF V8 owner in the street and made him a believer with just one full throttle blast

While he found how easy it is to break the rear end out under power though a fast turn, he also found how easily it comes back. Like I had discovered with the XE, the lightweight XF is a willing and forgiving dance partner.

Here's the old and new. I still love the 2011-2015 styling. Very sleek with sexy cat eyes. The 2016 is much more aggressive looking. Much wider looking than the numbers would suggest.

Huge back seat in comparison, and lots of tech to satisfy the new breed of owners growing into this price range who demand better and faster reacting in cabin tech,

than we've had to offer.

Both are great designs, but my heart goes for the new XF, bigtime.

I still need to see it in person, I like the front end more but I feel like the side profile just isn't as sleek, I realize it's more practical, though. I think the F-Type is the only current Jag that really photos well so I'll wait for a final judgment.

Well, after all the worry, I got to see the XF in R sport RWD trim yesterday, stock 19's (yes, it still has a spare, though a doughnut) in Ammonite Gray.

Looks great in person, though somewhat of a let down, not sure what it was, maybe the rear 3/4 angle, front and front 3/4 are spot on.

Drives really well, felt very comfortable in it, nothing odd about seating position. Rear seat had plenty of leg room compared to other cars of it's size.

I don't remember anything about the electronic steering, which is a good thing and bad thing (good means it wasn't bad, bad in that it wasn't a standout to remember), but need more time behind the wheel to judge it, I kind of forgot to pay attention to it in the short drive with the rest of the sensory overload.

I agree. I think the 3rd window extending into the rear quarter and blunt (British Bulldog) nose trade the sleekness of the current style for a more powerful look.

Here's a fresh 2016 XF AWD RS Sport.

Notice L.E.D. headlights and H.U.D. display. Lower front air dam, and different chrome Blades in the front.

Side skirts and optional 20" wheels.

More aggressive seats...

Added rear spoiler.
