Default auto lock/unlock door handles 2016 xf 35t awd

i just picked up a used 2016 xf 35t awd. i cant seem to lock or unlock the door by simply touching the handles...is it possible my car doesnt have this option? seems like a prestigious car should have something like that as standard equipment. how do i know if my car has this

There's an indentation on the door handle that activates the touch lock.

I've already replaced one of mine. It was finicky. Apparently there is a Service Request for the faulty door handles. OP, check with your dealer. Your car should still be under warranty.

+1

The model is available with or without passive entry. Check with your dealer who can lookup the factory build specification for your vehicle. Alternatively, if you have a Jaguar TOPIx account, you can look it up yourself from the VIN.

I don't doubt that but the OP doesn't show a Location. Questions like this are one of the reasons we ask all members for a general Location.
