After over a decade of be Jaguar-less I'm considering a 2010 XF.
Mileage approx. 70k.
I see there are a few guys that have had really bad experiences with the XF while others consider the model bullet proof.
Just looking for some practical advice.
I'm also considering a S Type R but seems as though most think that the XF handles better?

This forum is for the current model of XJ (X260).The car you are considering is the previous model (X250). ALthough they look very similar, the new car is completely different in every respect being built mostly from aluminium and with different engines and gearbox.

If you post and also look in the X250 forum in the Jaguar Models (Modern) section you should get some answers. However generally speaking these are a good car and the place I used to take my X350 for service spoke higly of them.
