Hello everyone! I'm new to the forums, but excited to say that I am flying to Wisconsin tomorrow to buy a 2015 Jaguar XF Sport 3.0 S/C AWD and driving it back home to Pittsburgh. I'm sure there have been hundreds of posts like this, but anything that I should know before becoming an official owner would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Take the VIN to a jaguar dealer and they should be able to give you the repair and maintenance history.
I bought mine from a dealer in virginia, used, I had a local garage check it for me and the dealer shipped it to Nevada. It has been fine for a couple years now.
Welcome aboard. I followed this forum for 6-8 months before buying one, people here are very helpful.

Thanks! I have a service appointment at a Jaguar dealership next week, curious to see what they say about the service history and overall mechanical condition of the vehicle.

Considering I bought the car from a dealership 650 miles away from home, they said they would cover any costs that the Jaguar dealership uncovers during the inspection.

I bought a 2018 XF 2.0 (25t)
I absolutely love this Jaguar, Not so many on the road compared to American, Japanese German & Korean cars but the feel of uniqueness is awesome on this car . People/Drivers everywhere just love staring at it.It's so fun to drive. I bought it used at Vroom with 32K miles last Feb & they provided me the CarFax report. 100% dealer maintained.

Congratulations
I recently got my XF Sportbrake long-distance as well. Make sure the dealer always checks for software updates; sometimes they forget to do that or assume all updates have already been applied.

Absolutely! Mine is 100% Jag dealer maintained in California, & when I went to a local Jag dealer here in Houston to get another Key Fob programmed they told me there is one recall that they needed to do. I said, "What this dealer maintained & there is a recall?" So, I got it done. Took about 1 1/2 hr to wait for the engine to cool down in order for them to fix the problem. According to the invoice it was for a "Variable Camshaft Timing Solenoid - Engine Set & Renew." . The only thing I paid was $26.98 for Shop Charge for Repair Order. (Not Mick) Jaaaagger, you are correct, the other Jag dealer of California missed the recall.

Well, a month after buying my XF and I have a coolant leak. I replaced the thermostat housing but that didn't fix the issue. It only leaks when the thermostat opens, have a feeling it's the plastic crossover pipe in the top of the motor.

JagFan Hilton has a video clip about coolant leaks on his XF but it is an X250. He has 2 videos on Youtube,

Video#1 Coolant Leak #Maintenance
Video#2 Coolant leak fixed.

Hope this helps
