Howdy..
Can't find the schematic for its location but wow is it pricey:
First is the high pressure diesel FP.

The in-tank fuel pump runs a little less costly:

Did you do a fault code read? Check the error code to see where the problem is.
Fuel pump, car also has a low pressure fuel pump in the tank normally that push fuel to the filterq afaik.

If the engine doesnt crank, you may have another issue besides the fuel pump. A bad pump wont stop the car from cranking, only from starting.

Hi.Thx for advice. When the car doesn't start that what is happening -- I press start button and you can hear pump prime but not like usual for few second it always does exactly for 1min and 5sec. So anyway I press the button and dashboard lights comes on radio and all other things. Then I press again to fire up and on that moment you just hear single click and lights goes off.Nothing happen.
Then again press start button and again and this time car fire up like it should. Why the pump priming for so long?end of life? With the obd I get code P0A0F and sometimes P 025c. The first code is the since car refuse to start first time couple months ago after I got issue while driving when turbocharger fail and push some oil out of the engine to the intercooler.I swap the turbo and done all the cleaning.Guys from recovery burn my starter do now I got reconditioned one.New battery.New fuel filter.New air filter. When I scan car back couple months ago I even get fault code for crash sensor but the only thing happen was the fail turbo and sudden stop on motorway.Thx again for all help guys

Hi did you ever resolve this? I think mine (2018 XF Sportbrake 2.0d) has developed the same fault. When I turn on the ignition with the diagnostics connected I hear the fuel pump cycling over-and-over again for about a minute.

Occassionally the car does not start from automatic stop-start, and now even seems to conk out during driving.

I suspect the problem is probably with the Fuel Pump Module more than the pump itself, due to it cycling the pump repeatedly?

Sorry for late reply ,probably you sorted your fault already. I still didn't sorted the long priming issue by fuel pump in tank. I can hear buzzing sound when placing ear on the rear seats. I change fuel module but change nothing ( module was second hand so can't guarantee it was in working condition when purchased). I know is long time since I created post but is annoying to hear that sound from the pump. My Jag also start shakes when coolant reaching first bar on the gauge. In cold weather will do that from the moment you start the car. But I'm taking about -6,7 degrees. That's another annoying thing. Sometimes I do regret buying the car 5 yrs ago. This 2 issues happen soon after turbo blow on motorway back in May 2021.
Hope you manage to sorted your Jag.
