My 2009 2.7 TD has just developed a warning saying Handbrake will not engage. This was after a period of not being started for 2.5 months. I have tried all the reset procedures such as depression of the brake pedal 5 times whilst holding the park brake on and without holding the parking brake on. I have even tried disconnecting the battery but to no avail. Any ideas?
