Default HUD in a package or stand alone option?

hi, does the head's up display come in one of the packages, or is it a stand alone option? I have looked high and low on google and cannot find the answer. this would be for a 2017 S model. thanks.

Heads up display listed as a stand alone addition at $1010 on build your own site. 2017 model? I don't know, and what difference would it make now?

thanks.

because i'm looking for a used one as a 3rd-car and none of the morons at any of the dealers have any of the S's listed with HUD. If it came in a package, then I would be able to figure out on my own if the car had HUD or not. as you're sating it doesn't though and that it's a stand-alone option, that forces me to call these idiots and hve them go out and look. i'm trying to avoid talking to a salesmen lol.

HUD was a stand alone option for 2017 XF S. These photos show how you can tell the difference with or without.

Also, if you have a VIN number for the car you are interested in buying, you can find all the options on the vehicle summary sheet.

Search the web for the Jaguar TOPIX web site and you can enter the VIN there for complete information.

You will need to create an "independent operator" login. Entering the VIN for vehicle information is free.
Service bulletins and other documents require a fee.

Once you bring up the vehicle, you can print the full vehicle summary listing every option.

Since the dealers web sites are sometimes vague on details, I have used this then when trying to find vehicles on dealers lots with all the options I wanted.

This is part of the summary for my car which shows the head up display. This was not part of a package.

Not from my car but part of a window sticker from one I considered.
