Default Modified exhaust and tips.

I have an X260 3.0v6s diesel. I never like the dual pipes on the back so managed to source a diffuser on eBay and had the back boxes removed and straight pipes fitted back to the CAT . As I didn't want any increase in noise I was assured that going that route would not increase the noise so I went ahead. Here is the result . I think it looks much better than standard option in my eyes and makes the back more complete .

I like it and I'm interested in where you sourced that diffuser on eBay

I'm so on the fence about swapping the exhaust on my XFS for the Quicksilver option but really concerned about the drone at cruising speed.

Your basically saying you cut out the mufflers and bolted straight to the CAT and got no increase in sound...is that even possible? Intrigued

When you remove back boxes on a diesel which mine is there is little or no change in the noise petrol however is a different matter .My car is the same as before in terms of noise with zero drone at motorway speeds . Here is the link to the seller he doesn't have any like mine at the moment but has a carbon fibre version which looks nice also.Hope that helps .

I am considering a similar mod for my 2017 XE R-Sport. How was the fitment of the rear diffuser from aacarfans? I think that is where you got it...

I got it on eBay so not sure . It was a generic seller. It was fairly straight forward as the diffuser clips on around the edges as far as I know . Hope that helps,

This is by far the best-looking rear diffuser (to house quad exhausts) for the X260 IMO.

I would spray it in gloss black though to match black pack on my XF S supercharged.

Only problem is where to purchase this in UK ideally. Any links much appreciated. Thanks!!
