Hi,
I have a 68 plate Jaguar XF R-Sport and it’s in the garage for warranty repairs. While it’s in there I’ve asked if they can check the lights that come in the dashboard when the headlights are turned on as the power/volume button‘s light doesn’t work.

They’ve came back saying that it isn’t a feature. I’m flabbergasted that the only button on the whole dashboard which doesn’t illuminate at night is the power/volume button.

Does your power button illuminate or is it true that it doesn’t? Or are they just misunderstanding what I was asking.

Yes, this is a single knob on the central console which is not illuminated, nor it was designed to. I don't know what was the reason behind this ugly decision, but that's how it works.
