Led head light fail
Hi all I got a fault on the left passenger (uk) side passive led head light of my 2019 xf and after a estimate of £3000 from jag iv opted to try it myself from a salvage car.
Can some one pls point me in the direction on how to get it out and in pls

The video is not for an XF but for a Pacey. I doubt there's a difference between the two in removing the headlight assembly., but if there will be? It will be minimal. At least it will give you an idea where to start. There's no audio on the video

I doubt that replacing your original headlamp with anything other than one with the same part number will work. The computer will sense the difference and all sorts of crazy things will result. I can say this because the HID headlamp on my 2015 F-Type was replaced by another that was ordered from the VIN. The incorrect headlamp was installed and neither headlamp would rise. A replacement with the same part number was installed and all was well.
Same thing happened when the LED headlamp on my wife's 2018 F-Type was replaced. The replacement was also ordered from the VIN. Once replaced by a headlamp with the same part number all has been well.
