Hello everyone, When I cold start the car there is some noise from the engine sometimes, what kind of issue of this? It's a 2016 XF R-SPORT 3.0supercharged(X260)

 

What sort of noise is it? A general increase in engine noise, or a mechanical knock or rattle, or what?
Some increased engine noise is normal at startup from cold because the engine management system temporarily increases the idle speed.

 

When I start my XF S with its supercharged six, at idle it sounds like a diesel tractor. Not a nice sound - what's up with that?
