Default OEM Brake Pad Material

My XF Premium is coming up on the 40k Elite service. I'd like to change the rear pads before going in. I am satisfied with the original pads and lack of noise and dust. My loyalty is with RockAuto and they have at least 10 choices. Anyone know the original pad material that I should look to match? Thanks

Why change them? The original pad thickness (face to backing plate) is .4 inches. Mine still have 92% of pad remaining after 18K miles. I doubt I'll need to change them before I part with the car but if I do I'll use Jaguar pads because of the stopping power, lack of fade (for me), low wear, lack of 'brake dust'.

Thanks for the reply. When I take the car in for the 40k service, the rear pads will be right at the wear indicators. I am looking to replace before I go in. Anyway, that is why i have the request for pad material.

There are no wear indicators unless you mean the low pad warning light. Measure them first to see if you even need them. .4 inches, 10mm when new. I'm curious what yours measure at now.
