New to this forum. I ordered 2017 SF Sport AWD at the end of February. At the time I thought I was ordering a 2016. When the build sheet was given to me I saw that it was actually a 2017. I can only assume that it's a 2017 because I wanted ICTP which wasn't available in the 2016.

I ordered the 20" Venom rims in Gloss Black, Black package, Jet/Jet seats, Comfort & Convenience Pack and the Technology Package.

My dealer has told me that my 2017 was shipped on 5/1/16. With a delivery window of 6/17-7/8.

Does that sound about right?

Welcome yntski. Your car will be a looker! Keep us all informed on what your dealer is telling you about delivery dates shifting. There's been some pretty well documented problems with the new InControl Touch Pro, and Jag has already sent out a patch which some in the UK are saying has not fixed the initial bugs, and may have created others. I suspect that the US rollout of MY17 XFs with ICTP has to do with that issue. Good luck.

 

Great. I hate when something like this happens. I had an issue with my last new car purchase and I had to go through the first 9 months of ownership dealing with it. It really takes the joy out of new car ownership.


Just curious can you give me a quick run down of issues so I know what to look out for and to anticipate those issues. Thanks.

Just got a call from my dealer . . . car is due to arrive at the dealership in the next couple of days. I may be able to get this weekend. It still has to go through pre-delivery and inspection.

Oh yeah, negotiations on price have to be done as well.
