Owned the car for month in a half and this happened

When I got the car I noticed a ticking noise in the engine bay but I researched everyone saying it's normal. Was driving then heard a clink noise then it slowed down all the way restricticted performance popped up in yellow then turned red. Got it off the hwy to my aunt house I'm hurt owe $10,700 before it's paid off and didn't even get to enjoy it ...
