Pleasantly surprised by this car!
Hello XF owners!
Just wanted to drop a note and say how impressed I am with the XF. My F-type is getting some minor warranty work done and the dealership gave me an XF 35t Premium as a loaner to use while they get in some parts.
When they told me I'd be getting an XF I was initially disappointed. I don't pay much attention to sedans and so I thought the XF was basically a Town Car competitor and that I'd be hating life.
Instead, I'm finding that this thing has a pretty good amount of power, nice steering, and is quite comfortable. Also, the stereo system sounds great! (especially compared to the system in the F-Type). I kinda want one now to use when I don't want insane sports car time. Very cool car you folks have!

New XF is definitely best in class right now in terms of handling and performance at the middle-performance level (BMW 535i and E 350).
I am so smitten with mine, I understand the folks complaining that the interior was lessened (i would have loved more wood/leather in mine), but the car is otherwise perfect. Drives better than my 328i M-Sport it replaces!

Initially I was not a fan of the 2016 revisions. My heart was set on the 2015. The V8 option. The body lines. Especially the side profile.
Then I actually test drove a 2016 35t. Firm cornering, strong launch, and a very comfortable ride. The 2016 interior revisions feel classier, if a bit muted compared to prior years.
So I bought a 2016 instead.

Thank you. I have one a metallic grey 2016 XF AWD Prestige. Real quality and real performance.
